Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 5, 2026
StrongHER Nutrition LLC ("we," "us," "our") is a women's nutrition and wellness brand. This Privacy Policy covers the StrongHER by AFJ mobile application (the "App"), our coaching website at arisfitjournal.com, and our product website at stronghernutrition.com — together, the "Services" — and explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information across them.
By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. Our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines also apply to the App.
I. Who We Are
StrongHER Nutrition LLC is a California limited liability company. Our ecosystem for women's health includes a companion mobile app (StrongHER by AFJ) provided free of charge to enrolled clients of the Aris Fit Challenge coaching program to support their nutrition, training and wellness, StrongHER Nutrition products such as SuperGreens sold on our product store, and a free guide. The Aris Fit Challenge coaching program itself is delivered by Aris (Ariana Bedolla) under her own Coaching Terms, which clients accept at enrollment; StrongHER Nutrition LLC provides the App and bills program payments through its payment account on her behalf. Both arisfitjournal.com and stronghernutrition.com are operated by StrongHER Nutrition LLC.

II. Age Requirement
The Services are designed for adults aged 18 and older. You must be at least 18 years old to enroll in coaching, use the App, or purchase from us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it and terminate the associated account. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at support@stronghernutrition.com.
III. Information We Collect
A. Account Information (App)
- Email address, display name, username, profile photo, profile bio, date of birth
- Social media handles (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube — optional)
- The date and time you accepted the Terms of Use, and the date and time you acknowledged the AI-assistant notice (Section VIII)
B. Health, Nutrition, and Wellness Data (App)
- Food logs, meal entries, serving sizes, and macronutrient data (calories, protein, carbs, fat)
- Macro targets and personalized calculations based on your goals, body measurements, and activity level
- Nutrition journal snapshots
- Binge and urge logs (emotional state, intensity, triggers, context, what you ate) and binge-free streak data — entered by you, or, with your in-chat confirmation, derived from your conversations with Grace (Section III-E)
- Mood ratings (1–5 scale)
- Barcode scans: when you scan a food's barcode, we log the scan (to improve accuracy and prevent abuse), and the barcode number is sent to a third-party food database to look up nutrition information. A product you scan may be added to our shared in-app food catalog, which is visible to other members.
C. Training and Fitness Data (App)
- Workout logs (exercises, sets, reps, weight), personal records, exercise favorites, programs and plans
D. User-Generated Content and Community Activity (App)
- Community posts, journal entries (text, photos, videos), comments, direct messages (text and images), and reports you submit about other users or content
- Your favorites list of other members, and your recent member searches. If you favorite a member, the App may notify you when she earns a badge, and members who have favorited you may be notified when you earn one.
- Badges you earn (and which ones you choose to feature on your profile), and shoutouts our admin team curates from community posts
- Your block list — the members you have blocked
- Your in-app notification history (likes, comments, mentions, replies, badges, Circle activity, shoutouts and announcements)
E. AI Chat Data (App)
- Conversations with Grace, our AI wellness assistant, in every mode — casual chat, SOS support during an urge, and logging a win or a setback — see Section VIII
- Structured entries Grace derives from those conversations only after you confirm them in the chat — emotion, intensity, trigger, context and a short summary — which are saved to your urge or binge logs (Section III-B)
F. Body Measurement Data (App)
- Height and weight, used for macro calculations and, if you are a coaching client, to show your weekly weight trend to you and your coach
- Waist measurement, recorded as part of a coaching check-in (on by default; you can turn it off — see Section III-L)
G. Device, Technical, and Diagnostic Data (App + Websites)
- Push notification tokens (to deliver notifications you opt into). Push delivery is handled through a third-party push notification service, which processes your push token.
- Over-the-air updates. The App checks a third-party app-update service when it loads to deliver app updates, which involves your device and update metadata.
- Device type and operating system (for delivery and compatibility)
- On-device storage. The App stores your access status and a copy of your profile on your device so the App can open and re-check your access when your connection is poor.
- IP address (processed by our bot-protection provider during sign-in and when you set your password — not stored by us)
- Diagnostics & Crash Data. We collect crash, error, and performance diagnostics to fix bugs and improve stability:
- Operating-system diagnostics — anonymous crash/performance metrics from your device's operating system, tied only to a random device identifier, not to your account.
- Our diagnostics provider — error/crash reports that include your account user ID (a random identifier) so we can link a crash to the affected account for debugging. We explicitly strip your name, email, and username, disable screenshots, and scrub request/response content. This data is never used for advertising or to track you across apps or sites.
H. Website Information (Websites)
- Email list / lead magnet: when you request our free guide or sign up for emails, we collect your name and email address.
- Coaching application: when you apply for coaching on arisfitjournal.com, we collect your name, email, and phone number, along with your answers about your goals, struggles, and relationship with food (which may include health-related information). By submitting the application, you consent to be contacted by us by phone, email, and/or text. This form uses a third-party bot-protection tool (see Section V).
- Cookies: see Section V below.
I. Transaction Data (App + Websites)
- Coaching: clients apply for and enroll in the Aris Fit Challenge coaching program — delivered by Aris (Ariana Bedolla) — on arisfitjournal.com; program payments are billed through our payment account and processed by a third-party payment processor. We never receive or store your full card number. Nothing is sold inside the App. The App is provided free of charge to enrolled coaching clients as a companion to the program; it is not itself a product you buy, and it contains no in-app purchases.
- Product purchases: when you buy a physical product such as SuperGreens on stronghernutrition.com, our third-party payment processor and checkout platform process your name, email, billing, and shipping information. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Apple-billed memberships. A small number of members hold an active founding-member subscription bought through Apple's In-App Purchase. For those members, Apple manages billing, cancellation and refunds under Apple's terms. We receive purchase status from Apple and our subscription-management provider; we never receive card details.
- Cancellation requests. If you submit a request to cancel, we keep the request — your email address, the reason you give (if any), the date, and when and by whom on our team it was processed.
J. StrongHER Circles (App)
StrongHER Circles are private groups and challenges you can join. When you use Circles, we collect:
- Circle membership and your role (member, host, or co-host)
- Circle weigh-ins, daily reflections, and daily check-ins (for example, whether you dieted or worked out) — this is sensitive health data (see Section VII)
- Your participation, which may be shown to other members of your Circle (for example, on a leaderboard that ranks by days shown up)
- Content you post in a Circle, and — only if you choose — a Circle post you opt to share to the main community feed
- Meals, recipes and grocery lists shared in a Circle, including which items you personally tick off
- Files, links and scheduled sessions shared in a Circle
- Agreements you sign in a Circle — your typed full name, your drawn signature, the exact version you signed, and the date and time we recorded. Only you and your coach (the Circle's host and any co-host) can see them.
- Forms and guides your coach shares in a Circle: your answers to her forms (for example, an intake or a progress questionnaire), and whether you tapped "Got it" on a guide. Only you and your coach (the Circle's host and any co-host) can see your answers. If your coach turns on "Show who's done," other members of that Circle can see that you finished — never your answers. Your answers are deleted with your account.
Circles may include affiliate links to products; if you buy through them, we or the Circle host may earn a commission.
K. Progress Photos (App — coaching clients only)
If you are a coaching client, you may upload photographs of your body each week, from up to three angles (front, side and back), to track physical change over time. For each photo we store the image, which week and angle it belongs to, the date it was taken, and whether it was backdated.
- These images are stored in private storage and are not publicly accessible. They are visible only to you and your coach — the Circle's host and any co-host. Our administrators cannot open them.
- We record when your coach has reviewed a given week.
- Location data is removed before upload. Phone cameras commonly embed GPS coordinates in photo files. The App re-encodes every progress photo on your device so those coordinates are stripped and never reach us.
- Progress photos are on by default when you set up coaching check-ins. You can turn them off at any time in the App, and only you can change that setting — your coach cannot.
- If you choose to share a photo to the community feed or your journal, the copy you share becomes an independent, separate image governed by the settings of that surface — deleting the shared copy does not delete your private one, and vice versa.
L. Coaching Check-Ins (App — coaching clients only)
If you are a coaching client, you complete a weekly check-in. We collect:
- Your written answers about energy, sleep, hunger, stress, pain and how your nutrition went, and any free-text notes you write to your coach
- Your average body weight for the week and your waist measurement and how your clothes fit — weight sharing and waist sharing are each on by default when you set up check-ins; you can turn either off at any time, and only you can change those settings
- Training adherence — sessions planned, trained and completed, and how many days you logged food
- The date you submitted, and the week of your program
Your coach — the Circle's host and any co-host — reads these. That is their purpose. They are not visible to other members. Our administrators can see check-in answers for support and safety purposes, but not your progress photos (Section III-K).
IV. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and operate the Services (macro tracking, workout logging, journal, community, AI assistant, messaging, coaching check-ins, the websites, the free guide, and product sales)
- Maintain your account and personalize your macro targets
- Deliver push notifications and emails you opt into, and keep your in-app notification history
- Process coaching-program payments and Website product orders through our payment processor and checkout platform
- Detect crashes and errors and improve stability (anonymous diagnostics)
- Moderate community content and enforce our Community Guidelines
- Review coaching applications and contact applicants about the program, deliver coaching, and operate StrongHER Circles you join
- Award badges and publish shoutouts
- Respond to support and cancellation requests and comply with legal obligations
We do not:
- Sell your personal information
- Serve targeted/behavioral advertising or share your data for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Track you across other companies' apps or websites (we do not use the Advertising Identifier / IDFA)
- Train AI models on your data (see Section VIII)
V. Cookies and Do Not Track (Websites)
Our websites are hosted on third-party website platforms and use only essential/functional cookies needed to make the site and checkout work. Our coaching application form uses a third-party bot-protection tool to prevent spam and abuse; it sets a cookie and shares limited device and interaction data with that provider for security purposes only. We do not currently use advertising or analytics tracking cookies, and we do not run advertising pixels (e.g., Meta, TikTok) or session-recording tools.
Because we do not track you across third-party websites for advertising, we do not respond differently to "Do Not Track" (DNT) browser signals. If we add analytics or advertising technologies in the future, we will update this policy and provide a cookie consent banner where required by law.
VI. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share data only with third-party service providers ("processors") that help us operate the Services, each bound by a data processing agreement and permitted to use your data only to provide services to us. These providers fall into the following categories:
- Cloud hosting, database, and file storage — securely stores your account, app data, and uploaded media, including progress photos in private storage.
- Payment processing — coaching-program payments (arisfitjournal.com) and product purchases (stronghernutrition.com) are processed by a third-party payment processor and checkout platform. We never receive or store your full card number.
- AI processing for the in-app assistant — a third-party AI provider processes the messages you send to the assistant in order to generate responses; these messages are not used to train AI models (see Section VIII).
- Error, crash, and performance diagnostics — helps us detect bugs and improve stability, using technical/device data and an identifier (with your name, email, and username stripped); never used for advertising or tracking.
- Push notifications and app updates — delivers the notifications you opt into and over-the-air app updates.
- Transactional email — sends confirmations, password resets, and one-time login codes.
- Bot and spam protection (CAPTCHA) — protects sign-in, password setup and our application form from abuse.
- Food database lookup — when you scan a barcode, only the barcode number is sent to a third-party food database to retrieve nutrition information.
Your coach. If you are a coaching client, your coach — the Circle's host and any co-host — can see your coaching check-ins, your weekly weight trend and waist measurement (each on by default; you can turn them off), and your progress photos (on by default; you can turn them off). The coaching screens do not display your private journals, your direct messages with other members, or your conversations with Grace.
Coach and administrator are two separate roles. A coach's access is limited to her own Circle and to the coaching information above. An administrator is a separate, service-wide role held by our operations team; administrators can access member data — including journal entries, direct messages, AI assistant conversations and coaching check-in answers — for support, moderation and safety purposes, as described in Sections VII and VIII. Administrators cannot open your progress photos; those are readable only by you and your coach. Being someone's coach does not grant administrator access.
At present, the people who coach are also administrators, because StrongHER Nutrition LLC is a small team. That is a fact about who currently holds which role, not about what the coaching role permits. Where we bring on additional coaches, they receive coaching access to their own Circle only. We do not routinely read journals, messages or AI conversations, and we never use them for advertising or share them outside the processors listed above.
We may also disclose information if required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of StrongHER Nutrition LLC, our users, or the public. If we are involved in a merger or sale of assets, we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
VII. Sensitive and Consumer Health Data
Much of the data we collect — nutrition logs, binge/urge logs, mood ratings, body measurements, progress photographs of your body, coaching check-ins, Circle weigh-ins and reflections, AI wellness conversations, and the health-related answers you provide in a coaching application — is sensitive personal information and/or consumer health data under laws including the California CPRA, the Washington My Health My Data Act, the Nevada consumer health data law, and other state laws.
Your consent. We collect this data only to provide the features you choose to use. Progress photos, waist measurement and weight sharing with your coach are each on by default when you set up coaching check-ins. You can turn each of them off at any time in the App, and only you can change these settings — your coach cannot. By setting up check-ins and choosing to use these features, you affirmatively consent to our collection and processing of your consumer health data for these purposes.
How we protect it:
- Stored securely with encryption in transit and at rest
- Never sold, and never shared for advertising or with any third party other than the processors in Section VI, solely to operate the Services
- Progress photos are held in private storage, are not served from public links, and are readable only by you and your coach (the Circle's host and any co-host) — not by our administrators
- Everything else is accessible only to you (and to our admin team for support/moderation when necessary)
- Other users cannot see your nutrition, workout, body-measurement, progress-photo, check-in, or AI data unless you explicitly share specific content. The exceptions are a Circle you choose to join, where your check-ins, weigh-ins, reflections and participation are visible to that Circle's members and hosts, and your coach, as described in Section VI.
Withdrawing consent. You may withdraw consent and request deletion at any time by deleting your account in the App or emailing support@stronghernutrition.com.
VIII. AI Assistant (Grace)
The App includes an AI assistant called "Grace" for general wellness support. You can use Grace for casual chat, for SOS support during a binge urge, and to log a win or a setback. Before your first conversation the App shows you a notice about how Grace works, and we record when you acknowledged it.
Important: Grace is not a therapist, counselor, doctor, or licensed professional. Its responses are AI-generated and may not be accurate or appropriate for your situation. Grace is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health treatment.
What we collect and retain: Your messages and Grace's responses are stored, in every mode, to provide conversation continuity. Casual conversations are retained until you delete them or your account. SOS conversations are stored the same way — they are not ephemeral. If you open SOS support within six hours of your last SOS message, that conversation resumes; otherwise a new one starts. All conversations, in every mode, are deleted with your account.
Entries Grace saves for you: when you talk about an urge, a binge, a win or a setback, Grace may summarize what you told it — emotion, intensity, trigger, context — and ask you to confirm. Only if you confirm does the App save that as a structured entry in your urge or binge log, where you can view, edit or delete it like any other entry. You can decline, and Grace will not ask again in that conversation.
How processing works: Your messages are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate responses. Under that provider's commercial API terms, your messages are not used to train AI models. Neither we nor the AI provider use your Grace conversations to train AI.
Human review for safety. We do not routinely read your conversations. We may review specific messages to respond to a support request, investigate a report, or address a safety concern.
Crisis resources:
- 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — call or text 988
- Alliance for Eating Disorders Helpline — 1-866-662-1235
- Crisis Text Line — text HOME to 741741
IX. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, row-level security so users can only access their own data, private storage for progress photos and direct-message images, secure authentication, CAPTCHA protection, and role-based admin access. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any applicable regulators without undue delay and as required by law.
X. Data Retention and Deletion
Retention. We retain your information while your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Order records may be retained as required for tax/accounting.
Account deletion. You may delete your account anytime in the App (Settings → Delete Account) or by emailing support@stronghernutrition.com. Upon deletion: your personal data, posts, journal entries, messages, nutrition/workout/binge logs, AI conversations in every mode, favorites and recent searches, Circle posts, weigh-ins and reflections, coaching check-ins, progress photos, saved foods and barcode scan history, and uploaded media are permanently deleted; your profile is anonymized immediately and your email and username are removed; deletion is processed within 30 days.
Signed agreements. Deleting your account deletes the in-app record of any agreement you signed. Your coach may save a copy of a signed agreement to her own device (for example, as a PDF) for her records, and we cannot delete a copy she has already saved.
What we keep, and why. Some information is retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction, payment and cancellation records, for tax, accounting and dispute resolution
- Anonymized diagnostics
- A one-way, irreversible hash of your email (which we cannot reverse), kept solely to honor limited-availability memberships and prevent re-registration abuse
- Only if your account was banned for violating our Terms — your email, username and display name, retained to enforce the ban
- A record of joining and leaving Circles. We keep a permanent log of when someone joins, leaves, is removed from, or is added back to a Circle. It contains an internal account identifier for you, the internal account identifier of the person who took the action (for example, the host who removed or reinstated you), the Circle's name, what happened and the date — not your name and not your email address. We keep it because it is our record of who had access to a paid program and when, and we may need it to resolve a payment dispute. This record is not deleted on request.
XI. Your Privacy Rights
A. All Users
You may access, correct, or delete your personal information, and opt out of push notifications (device settings) and marketing emails (unsubscribe link). Contact support@stronghernutrition.com.
B. California (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information; to opt out of sale/sharing (we do neither); to limit use of sensitive personal information (we already limit it to providing the Services); and to non-discrimination. We respond within 45 days and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Under California's "Shine the Light" law and CalOPPA, our data-sharing and DNT practices are described in Sections V–VI.
C. Washington (My Health My Data Act)
Washington residents may know what consumer health data we collect, withdraw consent for its collection or sharing, and request its deletion (including from our processors). We collect consumer health data only with your consent, do not sell it, and do not share it except with the Section VI processors and your coach, to operate the Services. Contact support@stronghernutrition.com.
D. Nevada
Nevada residents have rights over their consumer health data and we do not sell it. Contact support@stronghernutrition.com.
E. Other U.S. States
If your state has a comprehensive privacy law (e.g., Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, and others as they take effect), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, and opt out of certain uses of your personal information, and to appeal a denied request. Many of these laws treat health data as sensitive, requiring your consent before collection — we collect it only with your consent and use it solely to provide the Services. Contact support@stronghernutrition.com.
F. Canada (PIPEDA)
Canadian users may access and correct their personal information and withdraw consent (including for marketing). We collect personal information with consent and provide a meaningful notice at collection. Marketing emails comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL): we send commercial email only with your consent, identify ourselves, include our mailing address, and provide a working unsubscribe in every message.
G. Mexico (LFPDPPP)
For users in Mexico, this Privacy Policy serves as our privacy notice ("aviso de privacidad"), describing the personal data we collect, the purposes, and how to exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition by contacting support@stronghernutrition.com. This notice is provided in English; the App is offered in Mexico but is not actively marketed or shipped there.
H. European Economic Area / United Kingdom (GDPR)
We do not target the EEA or UK, but if you are located there: we process your data based on consent and contract; special-category (health) data is processed on your explicit consent given when you set up the relevant feature; you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and to withdraw consent; your data is processed in the United States under appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses); and you may complain to your local supervisory authority. Contact support@stronghernutrition.com.
XII. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact support@stronghernutrition.com and we will delete it and terminate the account.
XIII. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Services or by email before they take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
